Location: NJ | Thanks for the plug Todd but you haven't looked at my inventory for a few months. That guitar was sold in the spring. It was my personal instrument and I hated to let it go but sometimes in business you need to make those hard decisions.
The guitar went to a woman who had one and needed to sell it. Her manager called me it was her birthday an she wanted to replace the guitar. Apparently mine fit the bill. When they got they guitar they were stunned at how beautiful it was and very happy.
That made me feel good but I still miss that guitar.
IT is sometimes difficult being a dealer/player/collector. |

I was tempted to remark on the similarity to someone who runs a house of pleasure and falls in love with the denizens but it would be unfair. Didn't someone say that you should never mix business and pleasure, and wasn't that someone your Mother, you appear to have violated the best advice you will ever get. |

I was a player and long before I was a dealer. What happens is that as a collector you often run across deals that you know someone else would want so you pass them along to fuel your own habit. Well, eventually for me this turned into a business.
The 92 was a beautiful and great sounding guitar. I used it for a recording and for about 6 gigs. Every time I opened the case people were stunned. I do have other guitars and well this one was vulnerable, that is why I put it up for sale. I never really expected it to sell, but the day came and the price was right and I kissed it goodbye and sent it on its way. |
