I'm not certain, but I think I took, uh, I mean, owned a Qualude LX once. Maybe twice. Much better than the standard model.

12 fret necks NEVER had Kbars. That's why they have rod covers

Is the reason that the 12 fret necks never had kbars due to the fact that they are 12 fret necks or because they are slotheads? I'm curious because the factory is currently building me a custom 14 fret slothead neck. The original adamas slotheads had 14 fret necks but I thought they also had TR covers (actually a wood strip that screws on from the back of the headstock). Dave

Ok... I get it.. YOu said Honda, I thought motorcycle and they are made in the USA (don't know about the cars)... so I didn't get it.

But yes... LX seems to be the tag d'jure for anything new.
