Congrats Tony,

I had a bid on the Custom Legend to make a pair as I have the last one that was on e-bay.

The sunburst GC is also great.

What great news for Christmas. You know, a bad wife can make life horrible, but a good wife, well, they can make life worthwhile.

I've got a good one too.

Great guitars Tony. I'll have to come down and look at and play them.

Paul, that could be arranged since you're just up the road...used to fly Phantoms (RF4-B) and Intruder (EA6A) out of El Toro way back then.

Tony, Congrats on the nice guitars. I'm sure your wife is a lovely person. But I'm afraid that if she and I ever got together it would be a deadly combination for the used guitar market.

Somewhat related subject: I asked my neighbor what he was giving his wife for xmas. He said he is "giving" her his 4 year old Harley Davidson so he can buy a new one for himself. I just hope to hell she was the one who suggested it. That makes the Swifter floor cleaner I bought for my wife seem not too bad.

Once again Congrats Tony,

It sounds like the Slothead Santa will be delivering in San Diego and making one OFC member a very happy person this season.

The 1658 is a great sounding guitar. They are just so hard to come across, but they are out there.

Great guitars, but here is a small warning. There was a VERY relevant cartoon in the Sunday paper of a dorky looking guy helping the elves assemble the Christmas toys at the North pole with the caption "Who is that guy? He's the guy who believed his wife when she said not to buy her something for Christmas, he is in the protective idiot program."

Are you at Miramar? I had lot's of friends there when I lived in Poway.

I just went and looked at those guitars, Tony, your soul is in danger, those are GREAT guitars, I can't say I envy you, but I picture guys with TWO GC 12 strings in the lowest depths of Dante's Inferno, relegated to an eternity of playing "Wildwood Flower" on the High E string with Chet plying the whip that is applied at every missed note. Other than that, those are beautiful guitars.

Tony

I thank you for your career at protecting our country, used to pass El Toro on my way to Riverside Raceway in the 70s, grew up in Conneaut, OH and my wife gets on the net every day and checks the weather and news from that area.

I am a little partial to the Marines, my uncle retired as a Lt. Colonel after duty at Guadalcanal and my cousin was killed at Chosin as a Marine Corporal at 21 years old. I took the easy way out and joined the Army.
