Watched "Driven" on CMTV about the Dave Matthews Band, and as a disclaimer they aren't my favorite but they have some good qualities. Some of the footage showed Dave Matthews playing a nice looking Ovation, couldn't identify the model, maybe someone here can.

I saw Dave Matthews a few years ago, as I was curious to how the band would perform live and one of my church members provides the sound/light production for all of the DMB tours. He is an extremely talented musician, who does some rather interesting guitar work while singing and that quirky little dance he used to do. It was a good show by a great band, but sufficiently satisfied any itch I have to see him live.

He used Gibson Chet Atkins SST guitars exclusively on that tour, which seems to be the transition model to the acoustics he plays now.

Given his musicality, I am surprised he doesn't play an Olson, but it is obviously a lot easier to get a new Martin than a new Olson. And at least he didn't cave to Taylor, who was probably drooling over the prospects of a DM endorsement.
