Has the price started dropping already? $1750. with case and free shipping. Will it become more difficult to resist?

It's ALREADY pretty difficult to resist! Only thing stopping me is money.

I wouldn't say a price drop, I'd just say it's good old American competition....Siegler appears willing to live with a smaller profit margin than OVG. Will OVG feel compelled to respond? Stay tuned, eBay Ovation fans......

I don't claim to be an expert on Ovation product pricing, but I have been following pricing a bit since I am looking at different Ovations to buy.
Oklahoma Vintage had the first listing at $1879 for the first bid on Ebay. It passed through once with no bids and now it's about to pass through its second cycle with no bids. The 1749 price is a different vendor. Let's see how he does. $1879 is about 25% off list and $1749 is about 30% off list. It would appear that whether they make 300 or 10,000 of a certain model that 25% under list is too much to pay for a new Ovation. From what I've seen, 30% under is usually not the best deal either.

I ordered may 30th Anniv CL from Al w/o discussing price. Let's just say that of the two eBay sellers and Al, Al's price is still the lowest. And, mine is on its way - Ovation got it to him in one day. Should arrive 1/14.
