Somebody from area code 714 called on Saturday and left a message on my cell phone. It didn't come thru well and when I went to save it for later (in a better reception area), I accidently erased it. Please call back on my business line, 949/459-8963.

If it was my wife requesting an engagement to investigate my nefarious GAS activities, please disregard the message. It was all an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Paul, it wasn't me. My call will be around 6.30 on Wednesday. So, just in case your reception's bad again the message will be "Hey asshole, I've been standing outside this airport for 2 hours, where the f*$^ are you?"

It's what's under the coconut shells that count.

Yeah, but they can only count to two... unless they get some rhythm going. Then watch out, you can put your eye out with one of those (my Grandfather used to tell me that).

Sorry about the call. Uh... wrong number?

D.

I vaguely recall having a 714 prefix when I lived in CA in the 70's, but I don't recall phoning you. I could be wrong however, you know what happens to our memory as we age. Some say it is the second thing to go, I can't remember the first. By the way, what is my wife up to??

Reminds me of what my grandfather used to ask us, "Y'all want to go down to the Tender Trap? Can meet us some girls down there."
To this day not sure if there is or was a Tender Trap in Corpus Christi!
And we'd be watching something like the Jackie Gleason show and those dancers would be on there and he would ask us, "Would you boys take five of them girls or one of your mammy?"

:)

No, no, no...it was an anomaly caused by a disturbance in an atmospheric inversion layer that resulted in a phase reversal in the processed signal. I have descrambled the original message and am very sorry you missed it. It actually originated in 1967 and the contents are currently classified.
