Location: Suwanee, GA | I bought that new Glen Campbell reissue on Ebay. It is sweet--what a neck, and great sound.
I had an old 1617 that I sold recently--it was refurbished with a new bowl a few years ago. The new 1627 looks almost identical to my previous 1617--just different electronics.
I also have on order a 2003 collector's edition FRG--can't wait. This will compliment nicely my Godin LGX-SA electic.
So, I'm definitely getting back into guitar now, and all the callouses on my fingers are returning... |

Location: Phoenix AZ | I'm jealous as hell about the GC re-issue. Nice going. That's one very sweet guitar. If I was in the position to buy any brand new Ovation right now, THAT would be the one. Congrats and enjoy it. Dave |

What I really like is the neck and the action. Ovation is truly the "acoustic guitar for electric guitar players" I think.
I also like the the new LX series... |
