It would be really cool if you could post some daily entries ... those of us industry outsiders who can't get in are very curious ...

Day 1, Boy is it loud in here! So many guitars.
Day 2, I think I'm going deaf, my feet are sore, those amps are getting loud!
Day 3, My head hurts, can't hear a thing, can't feel my feet, my knees hurt, where did all those fucking drummers come from?
Day 4, Is it over yet? Oh God Please let it be over!!!!

W-2,
Two words.... NAMM BURGERS (or Dogs if you prefer). I am tired and will post more tomorrow, but Ovation's booth is impressive. A real sound booth/room, excellent LX display, and some rather unexpected guitars too. That's enough of a tease for now.

Miles, They serve food there? I never had time to eat, maybe that's why I always had a headache, or maybe it was the drummers........

Paul Wag, You gotta love some of that stuff. The problem is that they've just put it all together, good and tasteless. The conklin double bass is a serious instrument. Some of those others look pretty interesting. The ones I always liked were the ones that were total crap and everyone could tell it except the people who were showing them. A bunch of us used to vote on the worst of the NAMM show. That was fun.

Usually by Sunday the public has figured a way to get in. Back in the old days of spandex and big hair it got pretty interesting.
