Location: Seattle Tacoma Washington | Well, I'm not sure if this qualifies, but I bought a new MM68 at the end of January. It is my second new Ovation. My first, a couple years ago, was a 1768-7LTD or what might be know as the "Book Guitar". I call the MM68 mini me for the 1768. They make a great set, and I'll probably write it into my will that they will have to be buried with me. Play on! Pray for Peace!!!! |

| I have a question ? Should I buy the Little Adamas Tie TAc Pin? Is it Cool or Lame? Also If I do, Would that count as another Ovation Guitar Purchase? |

Location: Shelton, Washington, USA | in the last 4 years, i've purchased 3 new ovations. jan 00 bought an s778 (pros - great sound plugged or un -, love the neck, xlnt pre-amp, cons- the satin finish is highly susceptible to dings) may 02 an smt (pros - the sound, the pre-amp even if the tuner led's do blink too damned much, cons - the sound... the guitar is sooooo smooth sounding unplugged which is good for some stuff, but sometimes it's nice to have a brash, jangly kind of sound, that won't happen with an smt unplugged) this month 30th anniv CL (pros - sound, pre amp, workmanship all flawless, cons - too soon to tell)
after 30 years of ovation playing, i trust their work and i will buy more of them. (wouldn't mind finding a t-bolt...) |
