I read a review in USA Today about this. Something like 13 of the 16 songs are instumentals and are guitar driven. The lengthy, (for USA Toay), article talked about his influences and even got specific on guitar and amp models!!
Whatever style of music it comes from I think it's a good omen when a popular artist releases something like this.

Any of you country guys heard any of this yet???

Not that album, but all his earlier ones have at least one instrumental cut. The guy's a multi-threat talent; writer, player, singer, humourist, and dare-I-say cute? And a darned nice guy near as I can tell.

I hate him.

Brad Paisley is probably the best guitarist in Country music today. they actually had to re-release a song off of an album that came out a long while ago. From what I've heard and read, he pretty much told his record label they didn't have a choice and he was doing this which i think is pretty cool now in days. I do really like his new song with Keith Urban(whom i'm not a huge fan of but i'm over it).

Max, it seems like every 20 years you get somebody who can do it all, vocally and on the guitar. 40 years ago it was Glen Campbell. 20 years ago, it was Vince Gill. Today, it's Brad Paisley. Just outstanding.

Give Keith Urban a chance. He'll grow on you.

Just had dinner tonight with your dad. One of the world's really good people.....

Has the Paisley instrumental CD been released to the public, yet? If so, anybody know the title?

It's called "Play" and it's on Itunes so i do believe it is released to the public. some big names on it.

And i have given Urban a chance Moody, i own an album, but he just doesn't do it for me, hell of a musician, and there are always some of his songs that do strike a chord with me, but a lot of his stuff is the same and boring to me
