Just checked Elderly Instruments' website....they have an LX listed as coming in on 2/3....a "New England Burst" Elite LX. No picture....hopefully there will be one when they get it....or will it be there long enough for them to take one????

Don't quite have the money raised yet, or I'd be there next Saturday!!!!

sounds like they should have ordered two or three...how about marketing 101 - empty shelves means no sales.

At the asking price of 959.00, it may be there for awhile.

Elderly never orders multiples of a model, generally....it's rare they have more than one of anything, and certainly NOT any U.S.-made Ovation product. They might bother to have multiples of a popular Martin or Taylor model, MAYBE. They do get multiples of the Celebrities, usually.

They still have a regular Legend and a regular Balladeer, so I don't expect to see LXs in those models until the one there is bought.

Roger,
Huber-Breese will be getting in one at least. One will be an Elite LX Cherryburst.
And Roger....Guitar Club tonight if you want to make the trek. (bulletin board for one here) :)

I think $959.00 is a steal for a guitar of that caliber. I'd buy it in an instant if I weren't holding out for a 12-string.

Brad, didn't see your note until Monday evening. I thought you guys were doing TUESDAY nights???? I'll e-mail you about the particulars for next month, and see if I can make it.

It may be worth 959.00, but elderly's competitors have it for $100 dollars less. Actually, if you increase by $100 over the Elderly price of 959.00, you can buy the Elite 1778 lx.

When I am pricing new I always check Musician's Friend and Music 123 for internet pricing. If you bring a copy of what their price is into any music store they will match or come real close on price.

And when I'm ready to buy I'd go see Al.

For used - I research the heck out of it and still pay too much.
