Did you change something or do you need to add me to your "good guy" list? Sorry to post here, but I didn't know how to reach you and I need to contact you about something. Dave

Also, I'm looking for financial backers in little enterprise: I'm mixing Rogain with Prozac and Viagra. If new hair comes in it'll stand straight up... If it doesn't, who cares... Im trying to find another slothead for my other son now.. On another note,i receaved back from Ovation service today my 1987 collectors edition with a new three color burst finish like the ones on the custom legends back during the 80's.The guys at the factory did an incredible job refinishing this guitar..It even sounds better now?? They took the laquer down to the wood and refinished it.If any of you can remember it was on e-bay a few months ago with several laquer cracks on the finish.Well all that is gone now.I will post some pics in the gallery soon...

Most of the time I agree with that. All that said I believe that at this time the factory has the capability to produce better than was original. So Sam, you're probably right, the finish I'm sure is better and thinner and it undoubtedly does sound better than when you sent it in. And it will imporve too. I've mentioned this before but my daughter had an old Josh White, shiney, 5 point, 3 cracked top that was just wasted. They kept the bowl, binding neck, and bridge and refitted a new top. It's got the new aLeX X bracing (or some varient of it) and sounds just great. They do have their shit together at the factory.
