Create a Gallery in the Member's Section, post your images to there. Then you can use those to post to the bulletin board. When you have your image up in the gallery, right click on it and go to properties, you can highlight and copy the Address(URL)...
I find it helps to open two Internet Explorers (or your browser of choice!)...
Like this came from my gallery:

Al,

That was my feeble attempt to emulate Duane Allman... I grew the hair/mustachios because I certainly couldn't play like him! :D (still can't). :(

Unless, of course, you mean that Chet Holms is now a Signer for the Deaf at his church!

My vote is that Tim Chapman wins the prize for posting the two most dramatically different pictures. And Cliff wins the prize for posting the same photo twice. Dave

OK, here is a then picture from 198?? with Jerry. From the pained expression on my face, I must've had to pee really bad with an hour of show left to do!!

My "now" pic is so ugly that it won't even upload!

Goober, I've seen a lot of stuff where Jerry is playing that butterscotch Tele...is this an original early '50's model or is it a reissue? I think the reissues started around that time.

Mr. Bird, the only one I ever saw him use (the one in the pic) was the new reissue. I still have a Franken-Tele that he gave me that has a crappy body, but the back pickup on it was made only for him, James Burton and Albert Lee! A very thick sounding dude!!

From the look of the pic, this would have been about 1982, 83, when Jerry was in his flat pick phase. Luckily for all fingerpickers, he went back to using a thumbpick.

Of course then you get fingerpickers like me who use a flat pick and fingers.....

Yes Paul, that flatpick phase was a nightmare! LOL!! He went to see George Benson at Vanderbilt one night and decided that George was god. Not good. LOL!

I've got video of Jerry on Glen's Music Show from about 1982/3 and he's playing the Tele with a flatpick. Pretty damned incredible player regardless. But it was good to see him get back to what he did best.

But, Jerry was born a god of fingerpicking, and now he KNOWS it!

Someday, when there's an inventory taken in Heaven of all the great fingerpickers, Jerry's going to be up towards the top of the list along with Chet and Merle. And he'll probably take off his hat, scratch his head, and say "Son, how did I get there?" And the answer will be "He belongs there".

Paul, when I first saw that video I thought Jerry's right hand looked awkward as hell, flatpicking that tele with his wrist bent inward and holding the pick right off the end of his fingers...but he ws sure making that guitar talk and you can't argue with success, can you!

After 7 years of living in Texas, I know that you can always tell a Texan from a distance. It's up close that you can't tell him nuthing!
