You don’t mind letting your good buddies try out your Ovation for the night, or even the weekend. 3. Your Ovation is into alternate tunings. 4. You don’t need a courts permission to pull the plug on your Ovation 5. The curves on your Ovation will not sag over time 6. Your Ovation doesn’t mind riding in the back seat by itself so your good buddy can ride “shotgun” to the gig. 7. You know EXACTLY what the buttons on your Ovation do. 8. Your Ovation has more knobs to twiddle. 9. Your can just about always get your Ovation to emit warm cooing sounds. 10. If you ditch your Ovation for another one, it won’t take your house and truck along with it when it leaves! ....there's 10 more about your tube amp. Maybe I'll post those later.

Remember that your only true friend is another Ovationite! They would never think of doing such a thing! You actually let someone play your Ovation while you are NOT in the room watching, ready to take back immediate posession!? You actually let someone else sit in the front "Ovation" seat? That's why they invented Airbags... to protect our Ovations! As true Ovationites, we would never let anyone/anything ride in the front except our beloved! I would recommend counselling.... buy an LX and see if that doesn't straighten your thinking?! tim

Well, yeah, ya know there's that honeymoon period and all, but after the first couple o' scratches, a cigarette burn and some beer spilled on it, the honeymoon's over. I mean the main reason for playin' an Adamas is in case you are prone to catching some beer from the crowd right? That grille in the bouts vs a soundhole is to make it harder for liquid to enter, isn't it?

When I told a guy at work who plays (has a Custom Legend) about buying my GC 12-string, his response was "Great, bring it in so I can play it, I've never played a 12-string!!!!" Haven't talked to him since...can you say RUDE???? Sure you can. I'd NEVER invite myself to play someone else's guitar. If you want to play a 12-string, go to Guitar Center, dude..... .....oh, and I still prefer my lady over my Ovations!!!! Plenty of warm cooing sounds here even without plugging in..... It's good to remind myself what others are hearing when I play them. My 1537 Elite sounds so different when I'm playing as opposed to hearing somebody else play it. Like two different voices, both good, but different.
