Melissa Etheridge was on Regis and Kelly this morning. She played a black Ovation 12 string. I could not tell if it was an Adamas or Elite. One part of the song the other instruments faded out and you heared just her guitar. That sounded great, those Ovation 12 strings are hard to beat.

I'd really like to know what she is playing these days. I didn't see that show on tv, but at the last OFC Tour, they told me her signature guitar was going to be modified (including preamp) quite a bit, and then put into production with those changes. I was looking forward to hearing one (I'm not thrilled with the old ME Model), but it never went into production.

Perhaps I can find out details at the tour.

I picked up her new cd which was released yesterday. One of my favorite guitar players, Blues Saraceno is playing on many of the tracks. I thought it was a very unexpected pairing, but I was thrilled anyway. Unfortunately, he is not touring with her (Shel and I have tix to the NY show in April).

Cliff will be crushed, I'm sure!

Might well be one of her signature series Adamas 12-strings....it looks black unless you get some serious light on it, then it looks dull red. The picture on the website is not representative. I know, I have one.....I actually thought it was BLACK until the day after I bought it!!!!!

BTW, I see that this is my 300th post....you get me started, you can't shut me up.....
