Millenium - was this a limited issue for yr 2000? Was this just 6-strings, other than this listing? Number made? Any real difference other than inlays and limited edition? | ||

Joined: April 2002 Posts: 196 Location: Shelton, Washington, USA | hmmmmmmmmm.... i'm sittin here lookin at the pics... and thinkin... if martin re-did this as a twelve... did they call O and order a twelve string neck (that ain't no six string head on that thing) strip off the millenium fretboard from the original and put the fretboard on a twelve neck?.... or did they get a twelve neck and redo the inlay???? it sure looks like an adamas neck... i don't remember the millenium in a twelve configuration... how did they did that if the millenium only came in a six... if it is a redone six... what about the additional stress of six more strings? is the bracing the same on 12's and 6's? why not send it to ovation for the redo? why would a martin luthier even do a custom ovation? tooooooo many questions.... somethin is stanky here, me thinks.... just doesn't seem logical that a 6 could be flipped to a 12 that easily... can we see the invoice spec'ing the work that was done????? curiousity is killin me. | ||
