I'm thinking about going to Elderly in Lansing Saturday to look at their Standard Elite LX and their non-LX Legend. With your thoughts, I won't feel so bad if my ears tell me the Legend is the one that should follow me home. I have to admit, as an engineer, I don't have warm, fuzzy feelings about scalloped braces and the longevity of an instrument. I certainly do understand WHY they should sound better, though.
