I'm looking for some clarifications if anyone can remember these details, or knows where the info is.

1. Was the "Limited" called a Breadwinner Limited, Deacon Limited or just Limited or "The Limited."?

2. What was the model number and colors offered.

3. Were there ever any glossies, brosures or other paperwork done up for this model.

4. Did it ever make it to the catalog?

5. What was the original retail price.

6. What year (or maybe years) was it produced.

The story of this guitar is in a few places within the pages of this site and others, but I have yet to find these specifics. I'm going to continue searching, but I noticed that it was the only guitar missing (that I know of) from my Ovation Solidbody and Storm Series Collection site.

Well it seems one of these questions was asked and sortof answered before. CWK2 believes it was called a Breadwinner Limited, but Sam and I have always referred to it as The Limited or Deacon Limited with the most distinguishing character being that all of the Breadwinners were painted and the Deacons were natural finishes. So the question is still out there. In doing this research I found a great post...

"cwk2,
I've read some of your posts.. I'm assuming you have (perhaps HAD) something to do with Ovation and Kaman. "

What a classic.... it's just just to pick an old thread and just start reading.

Just bumping this up cause I'm trying to finish up my database.

I notice the colors reported so far are..

Mahogany (satin finish)
Greyburst (which I think is Barnburst ? )
Sunburst
