Location: Tennessee | With patience, it comes off just fine. Just be careful not to scratch the bowl. There are no telltale signs of any FRG stickers on a couple of my guitars. ;) In the interest of full disclosure, I also rip the tags off my mattresses and pillows, too. |

The cops are already on their way to your house.... |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I still remember hiding a tag I had ripped off my grandparents' rug, for fear the cops would be after me. That "under penalty of law" stuff was pretty scary. |

Location: Warren,Pa. | Back in '02 our house burned down; everything in it...gone.
Three months later we "moved in" to another house, though we had nothing to move. We began purchasing everything we needed to fill our new home...furniture, bedding, etc.
Dozens and dozens of "DO NOT REMOVE" tags on everything. It became a joyful little pastime for me...cutting all those labels off. Sadly, I most likely will not get such a moment in my life again. : (

Is that, like, a special international Trade Law thingy that means you can't remove the sticker? |

Location: Sunshine State, Australia | As Dave has pointed out on numerous occasions before, if you're going to sell an FRG, it's no longer an FRG - it's a second hand guitar.
An FRG only has a 5 year warranty for the original owner, a factory spec Ovation has a lifetime warranty for the original owner.
Sell either and they're both now 'second hand' with NO warranty.
I challenge anyone who owns an Ovation FRG to find the 'fault'. |
