As much as the "LX" arrived as a surprise it should show how good they are at not spilling the beans. A 12 string LX is a natural step ahead and it would seem more of a When than an If.
When the gang makes their mecca to the factory shortly I would expect to hear a lot more about the truckload of Lite-bowls sitting on the loading docks.
And I know these guys can't keep any secrets!!! |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | MWoody, how do you find the volume of your Elite LX? I have never played an Elite LX, but I have played the Legend LX and Standard Balladeer LX and found both guitars project very well. |

I really love it, it projects well.
I compare it specifically to the other guitars I have played.
I don't have a lot of experience with many guitars.
We really need some side by side comps! |

So fine! I'll go stand in the corner and play my guitar! See if I care.
When our "Adventure Cafe" at church is empty before practice it sounds really cool to fill up the large room unplugged.
About a million years ago (78-83)I would play weddings for friends using my Balladeer and finger picks - along with the three notes I could sing. NOTH'IN projects like an Ovation and this LX puts out! |

The reflected sound can be really nice. Especially if the surface it reflects from is hard - like tile.
Yes...I'm talking about the ultimate pickin' n' grinnin'.... playing in the, er..., bathroom. |

And why not? It would stimulate things across the entire product line. From the manufacturing standpoint, value is what the item is worth in the market. If the improvements increase the the value, and its manufacturing costs dont go up. Thats a good thing (more profit). Sometimes (and this might actually be the case with the neck joint) the manufacturing cost might actually go down. |

I can hear it now...
"For a 12 string for Christmas my true love gave to me..."
"Twelve D'Addarios, Eleven picks a shining...
and a CD by Kaki King" |
