SeeSquare...cool info on the repair man!
Sounds like the previous owner was unappreciative and abusive...but you got it ship shape again...Kudos!
As for the Pic Posting: I resized the image very easily with Irfanview to be 500 wide and my Digital Camera only shoots Jpegs...so it was smooth as sh*t through a goose!
BTW...you posted some awesome Pics! Usin' yer best Hillbilly Accent, can you say: Grate Geetars?!
Hey...What is the status of the Phoenix Rising?
I love the fact that you are into Ovation Ressurections!

StandingOvation...thanks for the Winged Bridge Pic Dave! Once again, usin' your best Hillbilly Accent, can you say: M R defnitly Wangs! :D
Nice 1111-4 Balladeer!

Gotta hop into the Citay now...catch ya'll on the Flip Side...

The Phoenix is done! It even has a preamp now. I will post images as soon as I can pry the camera out of the clutches of my rubber stampin' Spousal Unit.
And, not one to rest on my laurels for long, I am embarking on the design & construction of a resonator Ovation. Should be challenging. 14 frets clear of the neck. Spider bridge, cherry veneer plywood top.

SeeSquare...Long Live The Phoenix!
Lookin' forward to the Pic Post...before and after!
That new project does sound challenging...good luck! How about a before and after on this one too?

I just remembered today that my 1998 Headshot included my 1127-4. So, as soon as I can scan and resize it...I will post it in my Gallery...only because of the Ovation in the shot mind you! It's not really me anymore...long hair gone...added some poundage...but the Guitar is still itself and worthy of the Gallery!
Did I say I'm not worthy but my Guitar is?
Oh Lookout!

Chris:

I didn't know you put a preamp in your GC. What did you put in?

Hi Paul,
Sorry if my response was misleading- the preamp (a real old one with just volume control) went into the CC57 "Phoenix". The GC is still unamplified.
Did you see Al is selling an old 1115 on Ebay, in need of resurrection? Jeez, somebody stop me!! I'm beginning to wonder if I'm running an orphanage, or something!

ClassicRocker you tag line of "Musician Mans Best Friends: His Dog & His Guitar!" reminded me of my favorite qoute that has nothing to do with this thread..

"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.
Inside, it's too dark to read."

Miles...reminds me of the line from Creedence:
"...And I can still hear my old hound dog
barkin', Chasin' down a hoodoo there..."

Hmmm...never given my 1127-4 a name...maybe Hoodoo?

Gots my Mojo Risin'!

Nah...better name for a Hound Dog! ;)
