I have to go with Pink Flamingos.

I like the early gritty films more than the later Hollywood big budget ones, even though they have their place.

Hairspray.

Sonny Bono, Deborah Harry, Ric Okasek, Pia Zadora, Riki Lake, Divine, Jerry Stiller. And a great soundtrack.

I didn't care for any of his movies, but of his hit songs, I guess it would have to be "Annie's Schlong" or "Rocky Mountain Thigh."

Sorry I put Roger Waters up there on par with folks like Cicciolina and Ralph Nadar. Great at self promotion + interesting character + fairly intelligent = but unfortunately with an ultimate result of "Yawn, who cares."

I usually rank John Waters' stuff up there with Spike Lee: "Film School"-quality projects with enough of a budget to pay actors who've either lost their relevance or had none to begin with.

. . . but that's just me.

Yes, there was Still Waters that ran deep, but I'll take Al's word for the movie thing, as I haven't been to one in years. Did Ethel make any, I can't remember?

It was the other brother, Troubled Waters, that you had to watch out for.

Roger and John were his cousins. Muddy was the man and the two from the other side of the family, Troubled and Still never amounted to much. Still's son Fire now is another story! Alot has been written about him. I think he and Muddy played together some.

I have a voice in my brain of a bunch of rockers singing about "Black Water" in the 70's, seems like a bad dream.

Tim,
That was after he received the inheritance from his Political Icon Uncle Barry. Some of you (older) voters remember him as Au H2O. And the O does not stand for Ovation or have anything to do with Ovation, guitars or any cognizant thought that would enter the mind of someone who(m)did not do drugs in the 60's. Much like this entire string!

And now back to your regularly scheduled program.

As the ol' saying goes... if you can remember the 60s, you weren't really there. :D
