Thought that Slipkid would put it on, but since he hasn't, I will....I met him, BrianT and Don at Now and Zen Tuesday night for the second Guitar Club meeting here in the Detroit area. Also a member of Slipkid's old band showed up with his wife and played and sang with us as well.

Definitely showed my limitations....Slipkid and BrianT are pretty darn good. But I don't feel bad, they're about 20-25 years ahead of me in experience!!!!(I pretty much quit playing for that long---they're not older than me!).

I took the ME 12-string...don't think it will go next month....there's a lot of songs a 12-string just doesn't work on!!!

No pictures this time, and gentlemen, no Christy this time either..... :(

Hey Roger!....I was nice to meet you and put a face to the name. (by the way OFC board, Old Applause Owner is not old) Your ME-12 sure sounded nice. Don't "fret" about your supposed limitations. Remember, you are the only one of us accually trying to write something.
Now that we have an establishd time and day, I bet we will see more players next time.

Brad, nice to meet you and the others as well. Writing is why I started playing guitar in the first place. I was a writer of words (poetry) before I was a guitar player. Got another idea for a song today....who knows, might have something I can actually play and sing by the next meeting!!!!

The 1777 Legend will come next time and you can hear what a non-LX 1777 sounds like for reference.

BTW, Elderly got Balladeer and Legend LXs in today---they're shown on their website.

That is great to hear about the Club.

Good luck with everything guys and it sounds like you have a great time sharing 2 strong interets guitars, and ovations specifically.

Anyone in the South Florida area interested in the same?

John
