Hey I'm new to the board, it think it's great. I have a question... I've recently bought a '68 Thunderhead, It's Cherry red, gold hardware, vibrato. Anybody Know where i can get pictures of other thunderheads, or imformation, articles, anything at all?

Thanks

James

Several options:
1. Use the "search" button and search for Thunderheads.
2. Check my Gallery photos - plenty of Theads there. Samova also has lots of them.
3. Check Miles website - he is an Ovation electric nut (I mean that in a good way).
4. Check posts my Moody P.I. or myself, as we do talk about these a lot.
5. A lot of members have catalogs, schemetics, etc. Best to just check the search function.

So your name really isn't Ace?

Do a search thru the archives of this site for Thunderhead. You'll find a ton of info. Also take a look through the members' pics. Several of us have pics posted of our Theads.

Do Dave & I really talk about Thead that much?

About as often as you use the word "Margarita".

James, it kinda depends upon who's looking to buy at the time of the sale. I've seen Theads go for $400 and I've seen them go for close to a grand. I paid $750 for mine, but I knew the buyer and knew that the guitar was as he represented it to be. I have no regrets what so ever. As far as I'm concerned, it was worth every penny.
