In my mailbox today was a big envelope and flyer all about the LX Upgrade from Music123. Along with a letter descibing the LX's was a 25% off on Kaman wearable.

Way to to go Marketeers!

Get the word out and share what a great guitar you have going!

I put the four page Flyer in my Gallery.

I recieved two of them on the same day and an updated Ovation pricelist with last years Big Catalogue. Apparently they did'nt do a new catalogue this year. The nice thing about The LX mailing, besides the excellent photos and descriptions, was the 25% off on Ovationwear coupon that was included in mine! I'm going to be saving my Money, may even have to sell my Seagull to help fund my next O Purchase.

I presume I'm on Music123's list for this because I bought an Ovation from them.

In the interest of not giving Al a big ego boost - but not wanting to say he sucks (see earlier posts for understanding)- Al sends out a B/W double sided flyer that is in 6 pt. font!

My previous purchase of the Honey-coated Panelmeister via Music123 and subsequent registeration to anally track the shipment put me on their mailing lists. THEY send full color catalogs and endless junk mail on everything from Johnson Ukuleles to Gibson $6000 LP's.

IDEA - Ovation - send out free CD's of Ovational Artists to every home - look what it does for AOL! I never had so many coasters in my life!

I have never purchased anything from Music123, but I got the LX info package from them today. How did they get my name?

those fliers were from a few years ago before I went totally internet. It is just too expensive for me to send out a flier via the usps. I have a mailing list of over 3000 people.
I have been attaching credit card reciepts to those fliers to get rid of them. It is funny how some folks don't read the date and want something for the 3 year ago price. LOL

So Al, in order to get another one of those fine Collector's Flyers I have to buy another guitar from you? I'm trying! I really am! (And I did put mine away as a memento.)

Looks like I'll be picking up a couple of kayaks tomorrow instead. The good news is my 12 year old is starting to learn guitar!!! Little does she know how e-e-e-a-a-a-a-s-s-s-y-y-y-y it will be to get Dad to buy more cool guitars if she sticks with it! :D

That is, as long as it has a capital O in the name.

W-2 - Maybe I should send you mine so that you can autograph it and say something like "It's about time!" or some other sweet sentiment (click).

If it shows up on ebay in 15 years they can't kid you about your boots!

Peace, Love and strings that stay in tune!
