Location: High Point, NC. | Hi, I think I'm the new kid (age50) and boy do I have tales of Ovation woes, but I do have a question. I recently bought a Viper on eBay. This is my 1st Ovation electric in over 30 years (my tale of woe) and I was very happy to make the deal. I've been away from Ovation for so long that I didn't even know about the Viper, or other models, anyway the HSC that my viper came in is in good shape on the outside, however the lining is coming loose in a couple of places. I was about to pull out the wife's hot glue gun, and then I found Miles and this site. Anyone have any suggestions on how I repair my case? :D |

Enjoy your Viper, I bought mine new in the 70's. I assume your 1954 is the year you were born and I was kicking around in the US Army, it was a good year. To me, the Viper is the rich man's Tele even though there have been others who don't own one that call it the Poor man's Les Paul, the Les Paul groans, the Viper BITES.
