I was in Weatherford, Tx, last Thursday when the guitar store locator in my pick-up went off, "Guitar Store,Guitar Store, pull over, pull over" of course I did.
As I looked around and talked to the young fellow who worked there I had to mention that I was an Ovation Man. He told me the only O they had was a bass. It was a solid body they were cleaning up and working on.
I looked at the Ovation site and decided it could have been a Magnum, did Ovation make more than one style of solidbody bass?
Just trying to learn as much as I can about O's

Noel, O made the Magnum bass in two different body shapes. Check Miles' website I think he has photos. Later they made an Ultra solidbody bass. I suspect in somebody's closet somewhere is a one-off B-winner shaped bass although I've never heard mention of it. The Magnum bass is actually one hell of an instrument. One of the nicest necks I have seen. Unfortunately the thing weighs a ton. Dave
