Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | I went to my local music store today, and what do I see......LX guitars! In the middle of the store was a triangle shaped cardboard LX display. This was quite nice as showed all the new improvements to the LX guitars. And on the wall there were all four LX models. And quite a few other Ovation models. Seems the LX has really been a breath of fresh air for Ovation. Let's hope it also a breath of fresh air for Ovation dealers. |

Did you get to play all as well?
This could be a first for the board, first assemblage of all of the LXs. How soon before this is normal? |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Yes, I played all of them. The inlaid epaulets on the Elite are nice. I just kept thinking how nice a 12 string version of these guitars would sound. |

Part of the LX "full court press" is to claim a rightful share of "real estate" on the music store sales floors.
. . . about friggin' time! |

Location: Rego Park, NY, | I just played one yesterday at Sam Ash.It was plugged into an Acoustic Research AR30. I didn't realize at the time of the tour that the epalets were flush to the surface of the top. It played well and did seem lighter as described at the tour. When my son learns to play well enough we may be looking for one of these.
