Well, I screwed up several times on the first take, and gave up half way through. As I started the second, the 9v battery died. Would you believe it? I didn't have a spare. I'll hafta get one tomorrow and try again.

If you want to see it anyway, it's on the social network site. It does show the extreme differences. Please note the electric side is all amp. There were no effects. This thing can do the cleanest sounds to the dirtiest metal tones!

Looks and sounds good to me Damon. And like you say, it does show the extreme differences.

I want one.

BTW...how's the job hunting going?

I'll do a better one of that song. It's an old metal ballad I wrote when I was a kid that's never had words to it.

I have one more I did before I tried that one, but it's a subtle difference. I just turned the electric up a touch, and was also using a looper to do some stuff. It's rough, but I'll upload it quick. I plan on doing this one tomorrow night live if I can get it down pat.

Give me a few, and I'll upload it.

On the jobs, nuthin solid yet. Good prospects though.

So...when you selling off all the others? Looks like you're having a ball playing around with this one.

(BTW, your first effort is much better than I could have done with a couple of days of takes)

"Lame ass" - yeah, right. Nice job, bud. Very cool how easily it switches between clean and crunchy.

Great demo...stop being so hard on yourself...very nice rendition of what it can do...actually best I've heard yet...
I am amazed at how well it get the ovation acoustic sound down...for the distortion, is that the Carvin? or what?
I gotta get me one now...thanks a lot..... ;)

one thing worries me: the 9 volt dying...was that on the guitar? I've heard this is the Achillies heel of the guitar...going through batteries like Grant through Richmond...how do you see the battery life?

Looked and sounded good to me. You might have put some fingerprints on it, though.

Wish I could play as lame. Did your Carvin DC400 have a piezo pickup on it? How does it compare to the VXT?

Hey Jack,

I had the DC400T. No piezo. Can you split the signals on the Carvin?

And thank you Styll (and everyone).
