Would Ovation ever consider making an acoustic amp? Who knows more about acoustic electric guitars than they do?

Probably not as long as Kaman owns Genz-Benz.

I understand that Kaman worked closely with Trace Elliott and now also with Genz Benz. Both of these names have been staples in the industry for what they do for along time. Although I'm sure Ovation could build an amp, why bother. Let someone else have the R & D headache and they reap the rewards of distributing them.

Seems like in walking around the factory the only amps I remember seeing at various test sites were either Genz Benz or older Trace Elliot's.

There was an SWR California Blonde & a Mesa Boogie something or other (Maverick maybe)in the demo area, and I spotted a couple of 60's Ovation amps in engineering.

They just bought Bent-Genz. Don't count on seeing an Ovation amp soon (as in the next 100 years)
