I had never actually seen this pricey book (despite its fame). Now you can enjoy this ONLINE VERSION!

Apologies if this has already been posted....

That's just a few select screen shots, not the whole book.

Somebody thinks it's worth $400 for a used copy. I must have got one of the last ones at Barnes and Noble.

Mark, didn't you say you got that copy at the Tanasbourne Barnes & Noble? If so, I think I had actually ordered that into the local store, but found a better price elsewhere, so they shelved it, and you happened through a few weeks later.

Yep. Probably 3 years ago when I was killing time waiting for the girls to pick out wedding dresses or something for a niece. I had them check to see if they had any more copies, but they didn't. I was lucky I didn't just reshelve it, since I practically read the whole book while I was waiting.

That picture gives me some hope that my daughter's boyfriend may turn out OK eventually. At least as OK as Beal is.

If your daughter's boyfriend looks like that today, you may still have cause for concern. ;)

There is still apparently at least one "History of the Ovation Guitar" still available in Australia. National Music (wholesalers) have it and will deliver it to your local music store in Australia. Oh, sorry, you don't have a "local" store that is in Australia?

If you're very nice to us Aussies, one of us might go in and order it for you, for way less than $400.

Then sell it to the yanks for $US400. Pay Beal $100 to sign it then bump it up to $1,000.
