Very cool guitar indeed. I'm very impressed with the sound of the OP24 too.

A beautiful rare bird, and my first Super Shallow.

Congrats Damon! I have a little bit of a personal attachment to that guitar - my son Nicky played the infamous "Don't Fear The Reaper" on it at the first southern jam. It's a fun guitar. Enjoy!

Ugh! What were they thinking?

Someone asked recently which was the ugliest O ever made. I recall that particular model got quite a few votes.

I like all your other guitars though, Damon. :D

Maybe I missed it in earlier discussions, but who is the O'Connor individual who signed the guitar in 89?

I believe that's the artist that hand paints the top.

That is correct: he had a workshop on his yacht...Ovation delivered the guitars to him there and he did the graphic's there...from what I could gather, he's living out west somewhere now....

This guitar sounds so great...the graphic's may not be your cup of tea, but the T-Bolt is a great gigging guitar....

I had the blue version for a few years. It was fun to play. I sold mine to CED (former OFC member) a few years ago.

No question about it - the snakeskin finish on this guitar is executed very, very well. Weather you like the motif or not is just personal preference (one man's ugly is another man's wife). And as usual the photos are among the best quality I've ever seen. I need to make a "damongallery.com" ...

As I recall hearing this guitar at one of the tours it sounded nice.

Congratulations Damon.

No. The GUITAR is ugly. The paint job is fantastic.

The only thing ugly on these guitars is the headstock IMHO.

Thanks for the comments all. I'm already kinda known at open mic as the guy who brings a different guitar every week. Wait thill they get a load on this one!

I think for this one instance, the headstock works. It would have looked funny with the traditional one I think. I'll bet someone else thought the same thing and thats why it was changed.

As for the paint job, I just think CWK2 needed something to match his boots

Must've been after "the cadillac" phase :D

I'll have video of it up here in a few.

Come on mike, push the envelope a little. How about one of those devil red-flame guitars. Or maybe the heroine diaries? I bet your congregation would love it ...

Oh the Tak is good. It's a dream if you're into the wider nut. One of the best sounding guitars I've ever owned.

Should be there tomorrow!
