I was at Huber-Breese last week to try different acoustic amps. I was bouncing back & forth between 3 amps comparing function & sound. I had the acoustic room all to myself. Well, with my mind on amp features & sound I made a error that produced a tremendous blast of feedback. I switched off the amp, closed my eyes and cringed. I expected "management" to come storming in but I was left alone with my embarassment.
However, there was one cool thing that happened. When I killed the feedback the amp sound was gone but the room was still alive with sound. All the guitars were singing like a choir. The sound stopped in a few seconds but I noticed a couple guitars sang longer than the others. I wish I had time to scope out which ones they were.

Actually, if you go back and the room is crowded, it's a GREAT way to "empty" it. ;)

If you DID do it again, I'd lay you 10-1 that the guitar to "react" the loudest/longest'd be an Adamas.

. . . . providing they HAVE one . .

Personally, I'll probably be at the mothership get together next year, and I think it would be cool if we all went to the local GC (if there is one), picked up axes and plugged in (doesn't matter what kind), and begin to play "Stairway to Heaven" in unison, then every man for him (or her) self, until ejected.

Boy, you guys want to get me in trouble!
I should wait till room got crowded, then blame the amp blast on the kid with the black Blink 182 t-shirt.
I don't think I would try that again on purpose, but it was a very, very cool sound.

The acoustic room at Huber and Breese is not little, so you musta really blasted it!!!! :D

The salesman did that too when I was trying out my ME 12-string before buying it.
