Location: Vernon, CT | I was interested in getting an Ovation Custom Legend FRG so I contacted Ovation by e-mail regarding specific dealers they do this for. The answer I received was that they "do not" remanufacture instruments for resale nor do they resell them to dealers. They only repair personally (first owner)owned instruments as per the spec. of the warrantee. Guess I'm confused since I have seen Ovation FRG's being listed for sale with factory warrantees??? Anybody?

Location: Tampa, Florida | I just received my FRG Elite LX (Yum!) from Victor Litz. They seem to have a lot of FRGs on ebay. The only flaw with my guitar that I can find is the "FRG" sticker inside the soundhole! I gotta pull that thing off of there so nobody knows! Great guitar anf Litz was great. They have a specific warranty sheet for the FRGs explaiing the 5 year deal. Its a great deal to get $1329 (list) worth of guitar for $589. Can't beat it. |

Location: SoCal | I know that Al has a CL 30th Anniv coming to him from the factory...whatever they call it, basically a wonderful "demo" - may not have a warranty but probably a good price. Of the three I have, the one I got from Paul Blanchard no longer has the warranty as I was not the original owner - no sweat, if there was a problem - I am confident the factory would take care of me. |
