There are a variety of options and models to choose from. The -4 denotes the color treatment. Take a look in my gallery for a promotional that will "splain everyting". And Welcome!

Of all the LX series, that guitar is the one with all the problems and with the worst tone. A real piece of junk. Hope you didn't pay more than a hundred for it. In fact, I'll take it off your hands for a hundred right now. Just to be nice. Seriously, it's a terrific guitar and you'll be happy with it. All the LX guitars are a giant step in the right direction, IMHO. You done good.

I have been a bass player for the last three years due to an over abundance of guitar players around here. The LX however has made it such that I don't care if I'm in a band, or playing on my front porch, or while settin on the john. It is the nicest guitar I've ever owned and I can't put it down.

Not sure if there is a model number for that but I like both guitars. Have fun...once you go Ovation you've gone Innovation and won't go back (or so the saying goes). John L.
