Taped this tonight and they played two nice looking Ovations. Looked like they were playing acoustic through mikes although Jim's guitar was obviously acoustic/electric. Great sound whatever they were doing, the Ovations sounded better than their wood guitars. I think this may have been discussed before but it's the first time I've seen it.

A great artist and very funny. The moral of the story is to stay away from small airplanes I guess.

Been a huge Jim Croce fan since I was a young'un... I've got a DVD of performances of his... Maury Muleheisen (his lead guitarist) is one of the most amazing guitarist I've ever heard or seen play the guitar... I can't wait to see the PBS special too!...

I was just thinking the same thing . . . . it's not like there's a huge amount of video available on this guy.

The VH-1 "Behind the Music" on him was rather interesting.
