Location: Coaldale Pennsylvania | My uncle recently gave me his Magnum I. It's a great bass, the best I've ever played. But as I'm sure those of you who have it know, it's a little difficult to adjust. Not wanting to screw with it since I dont know how everything works, I was hoping somebody out there has a copy of the manual that origionally came with it, and could send me a Xerox copy. If anybody can help, just toss me an email about it |

Oh, and I forgot, mine is a Magnum 2 (Found that out recently). But I think the only difference is the EQ sliders |

Location: NJ | I absolutely LOVE the Magnum 2's!!!
Back in '76 when I bought my CBalladeer, my friend was looking to buy a bass. I tried and tried to convince him to get a Mag2, but he bought a MusicMan instead (fuckwad!).
Ever since then, I've ALWAYS wanted one of those!!
I always thought they were SO cool.
When I recently moved, I went into the local Mom&Pop (actually I think it's Mom&Son) music shop to get some supplies. Being that I wasn't a 14-year-old Asian cellist, they didn't have ANY of wht I was looking for (D'AddPhosBronz12's, Dun65, etc.)!! Went noseing around the shop and on the back wall found the ONLY Ovation in the store . . . a BEAUT mahagony MagnumII !! $750.
Now . . . I just have to hope and pray that it stays "hidden" there until I get my annual bonus this September.

Angelo;
Check over in the "Links" section, as there is a Brit website there devoted to Breadwinners/Deacons with manuals, schematics & such. Don't know if there's anything on the Mag's, but there might be. Good Luck.
. . . and Welcome!! |
