Location: Yucaipa, California | I have a Boss Chorus pedal that is "ok" but doesn't give that nice lush feel, nor does it give the various "room/hall" echos....
What are the recommendations from da board? I want deep, adjustable chorus with deep adjustable echo in a small package.....
thanks |

Location: Columbus, OH | I have the Boss AD3. Nice chorus and reverb. No "echo" or "delay" though. |

Location: Monroe, Ohio (Cincinnati) | I have a Danelectro Cool-Daddy Chorus pedal.
It is very nice, but strictly chorus.
I bought it for my electric guitar, which I never play, and now use it occasionally with acoustic. |

Location: Monroe, Ohio (Cincinnati) | I am sorry, my Danelectro chorus is a Cool Cat not Cool Daddy.
It is very lush, but like I said before, chorus only. |

Location: Minden, Nebraska | Interesting thread... I just posted a similar question on the Hamer Fan Club board.
I have a Boss AD-5. The chorus is good, but I don't think it is as good or lush as the one on my Boss Chorus pedal.
I have been thinking about upgrading to the AD-8, but it doesn't seem to have a chorus on it. |

I also have the Boss Chorus.... what if I plugged that before the AD-5 and used BOTH Choruses??? |

Location: Scotland | To get the best out of the AD5 chorus the trick is to use both outputs with each channel panned hard left & right. The other thing is that the AD5 uses a dual chorus effect where the higher and lower frequencies are chorused differently, this really helps the cause when used in stereo. Personally I'm totally bored with chorus & rarely use it. If you feel you must use another chorus unit with the AD5 patch it in via the ad5's FX insert point rather than plugging the guitar into the pedal then into the AD5 |

Location: Minden, Nebraska | Paul T: thanks for the tip on the AD-5. I will have to try it out using both outputs and channels panned. Maybe if it sounds better, I won't be as bored with it, either. |
