Why someone hasn't done this with an Ovation yet is the biggest surprise to me.

I wonder if it's in open tuning.......maybe the capo would double for an anchor?

An Aussie Maton - a great guitar and apparently quite a handy boat

I was just talking to Steven about Matons this morning :D

Saw this clip on TV the other day. I thought I heard somewhere that the boat was going to be a prize in some contest. I'd like to win it and typically SWMBO says.."what the bloody hell would you do with it?"

Does it really matter? :D

I think you can only do that with a dreadnought.

I disagree. I've only ever heard 2 Maton guitars that I'd even consider owning. They sound very tinny and thin - no guts or bottom end.

I can't believe how many Aussies love them. Blind nationalism.

Funny Muzza - I have had another good friend tell me the same thing which is one of the reasons I haven't really checked them out.

I guess we don't have much more to be nationalistic about except Vegemite and Tim Tams :D

Brad Clark seems to have landed on his feet. Check out the Cole Clark Fat Lady. I have one in Tasmanian Blackwood with a Bunya top. Quite nice. The face brace sensor is amazingly good.

And Kookaburra Liquorice.

I have the FL2AC, with the block MOP inlays on the rosewood board. I like it better than the 2007BCS for a lot of things, and I like the 2007BCS better than the Fat Lady or a lot of other things. Both are excellent plugged in.

Cool - so there is room for both then? S

It certainly would have been cheaper for me but you can't take it with you
