Brad, that twinkle in your "friends" eye has me a little worried. Did he grow up to be a ukulele player or something?

I wish bell bottoms would come back in style... then I could market a line of tropical bell-bottom shirts for guys like us!

From the Land of Sky Blue Water. Hamm's the beer refreshing!
I grew up in Milwaukee. My first song was probably a beer commercial.

Turned out that Sky Blue Water and Tumwater were a lot alike, or that's what they said when Hamms and Oly merged. I thought Tumwater was kinda skunky, but it did smell like the paper mills in Wisconsin.
Back to the topic, my pants are so much bigger at the top now that they would have to be huge to have any bell at the bottom.

While the Seafairer's were certainly comfy, the original dungarees were certainly more durable and made a heckuvlot better floatation device.

Yeah...I kinda recognized the bear but Godzilla and the monkey with the drum is kinda disturbing.

Stephen... what in the world inspired you to dig up that photo & post it?? Don't you have an anniversery or something to celibrate???

Yep.. A Hamms beer bottle... and it was unopened. If it had not fallen off the shelf I bet I could have got a pretty penny for on e-bay. A Blatz beer thingy is to the right of that... and to the right of that... it's GODZILLA!!!

I'm sure my friends 12 string has long turned to sawdust. But the Balladeer lives on!!

p.s.... the Blatz guy was playing a banjo.

Well, some people like Jeff will scour the internet looking for strange unexplainable photos.

I choose to go to the OFC social site :D .

I was wondering when you would discover the thread and chime in.

I don't think that characterization is justified, Stephen

You mean Blatz, Milwaukee's finest beer? I forgot some of the words to that one, "smoother........less filling, that's clear. Blatz is Milwaukee's finest beer." Had a keg, bottle and can sing that tune.
Jeff, I knew Cliff played the flute, but you didn't have to out him in such a cruel fashion.

In the '60s a commercial for a local brewery in New Orleans used to advertise... "Drink JAX, the beal jeer!" (hic)
