Within 10 minutes of signing on today as a new member, I now know that I am the proud owner of a 1981 acoustic/electric Legend 6-string and also a 1977 acoustic Pacemaker 12-string. Little did I know! I think I'll go re-introduce myself to them! I've also found this to be a great site and am enjoying looking through all of the postings, listings, references, etc. Take care one and all and I do look forward to talking to any and/or all of you Ovation devotees.
All The Best! Berkley

Hey Berks:

Welcome on board. This board consists of a good bunch of people and a good reason to blow off work or home chores.

Enjoy.

Welcome!

Gotta love the way a Pacemaker can fill up an empty room!

Thanks for the welcome folks! I'm getting bleary eyed reading through all of the information on here. I no doubt haven't even scratched the surface yetbut it's been fun and informative. One thing I've remembered while checking out this site concerns an Ovation I once saw. I live near D.C. and was at the Smithsonian's Museum of American History a couple of years ago playing tourist with a visiting friend. Standing in a display case about various American instruments was one lone guitar, an Ovation Adamas! Looks like they know something most folks don't (except for this club, of course). Take Care All! Berkley, I'll have to double check the rules, but I don't think the Ovation Fan Club allows people with General Electric household appliances. ;)

Welcome aboard. You aren't by any chance a former member of that 1960's group General Electric and the Walking Wounded, are you?
