There were several made for a few people. Which one are you talking about?

In 1981, Ovation built their first supershallow bowl guitars. These were blue Adamas topped guitars that were built for Glen Campbell. One was a steel string and the other had a country artist neck on it. They are both now owned by club members. Look in the club photos for guitars by Playadamas and Bluebird.

There was a -7 nylon, maybe two, don't know what happened to them and we made a couple of blue ones for Pat Martino, one was a double neck.

I've often wondered why there was never a production nylon string Adamas model.

As there seems to be a few around, what does one sound like ?
Does the graphite top work with nylon strings ?

There have been discussions on this before. Check the archives for a full discussion, but the bottom line is that the nylon strings don't provide enough tension on the top to drive the graphite top.
