Location: Copenhagen Denmark | Oh no , and I was about to treat myself to a MAC comp. , I` ve been told that it`s The Best for graphics , so wanted one to use for electronic photography , I was actually negotiating about it , even today... and therefore I let go of an offer for a beautyful SJ -200 from 1997 , not a scratch on it ( belonged to a rec. studio ) , figuring I had more use for that MAC. ,..

| I've got McAfee Antivirus installed. Being Unix Leopard is inherently safer than Windows but there's no OS that's immune to the maliciousidiots/geniuses out there.
Seems like the sensible thing to do. |

POOR ADVICE. It was that mentality, and THE SAME QOUTE (from FEMA and Centers for Disease Control) that caused so many people to die from Anthrax in the Washington DC area a few years ago.
Granted computer malware is NOT anything like what happened back then, but the mentality of "we'll worry about it after it happens" sickens me, especially when related to safety and security.
Essentially what they are saying is... after you get your identity stolen, credit ruined, and all of your money (for those that have any) removed from your bank account... you should then start using prudent security practices.
