Location: Los Angeles, California | I mentioned in an earlier post that I got my wife a CC057 for Christmas.
I came home from work yesterday, gave her a peck, popped a cold one and sat down. She asked if I wanted to hear the new song she had learned.
She had the amp turned on before I could answer.
She played me Beethoven's Fur Elise and absolutely nailed it!
Now I've looked back on some of the old posts and read where you all have talked about Ovations filling the room with that beautiful "O" sound but I swear if I hadn't been sitting in my own little livingroom I'd have thought I was sitting in a concert hall!
I asked her later to play it again on my 1761 to see if it sounder even better. She couldn't do it and has never liked my deep bowl because she has short arms and it is uncomfortable. She just loves that guitar. |

I just gotta ask ... is your wife's name Sally? :) |

My wife is Page. I'm Mustang because I have both kinds. The horse and the car. :)
But I like to do "Long Tall Sally" whenever I playing a gig. Not like I actually play gigs anymore. These days it's more like B-day partys in the backyard with a bunch of other ol wanna-beens, usta-wases, would you believe beer-swilling BBQers! :D It's all good!

You're the one who is cool doing the recording and really using that high-tech stuff instead of a cassette recorder from K-mart! I try not to get serious about playing anymore. I just do it for fun. Of course you know we out here in California have a rep for being laid-back.

I've been told that I'm at the head of the never-was-beens list. |
