I've noticed a few "thank-you" topics lately about members that go above and beyond. So here's my Thank-you to Crimsonlake (Mike).

A couple of weeks ago I asked for help with a song My sister and I want to play for my Dad at Christmas. My Dad is on his "last legs" in a 15 year fight with Cancer. In a very short time after posting, I got a response from Mike and an offer of help. I received a "partial" tabbed/notes PDF this morning of a very difficult song with a promise to finish it up shortly (He's at a difficult section). Amazing people here on this forum!!!!

Mike, My sister and I send out a huge THANK-YOU for your help and time spent!!!!

Sincerely,
Bob

Amen to that Bob. Mike is a great guy, as most of our members are. Just some are more talented than others. (I'm one of the "others")

I don't think "normal people" have any idea what a great thing we have going here.

Prayers for your dad and your family, BT.

It's amazing how much moral support and practical help floats around this place. As a big time recipient of it myself I know how much it helps.
Great story.

Same here! And Mike has been one of the many to assist.

In fact, Bob, you're just receiving some of the sweet karma you yourself have projected.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours!

yes. amen! i am very indebted to many that i have met here. soon after i joined, mike (crimsonlake) journeyed to a guitar store for me to check out an adamas i was interested in. got to meet him and his son nicky at the first southern jam and i've received many supportive messages from him. in a world filled with hostility, he is quite the gentleman. mahalo mike.

Thanks IFFY. Only doing what most others do here!

Also thanks to all who sent concerns and prayers about my Dad. Very much appreciated.
