Location: New Mexico | No expert here, with guitars or women. Have been happily married almost 24 years. My suggestion is to get a nice card, no flowers or chocolate but "Hand write" a full page letter. No, letters 2" high don't count and the word "very" is used only once. Just say the things we take for granted. If your significant other is anything like mine, then you know you wouldn't function well without them. Let them know... If you feel compelled to the flower thing then buy a Tiger lily not a rose...Something different so she knows you spent more than 10 seconds at the florists..
Just my .02 :D |

My wife decided aganst the idea of the orphan puppy. She just needed time to think it out. Sometimes "impulse" decisions work out and sometimes they don't.
We are going to help find the pooch a home. Anybody want a 7 month old Cocker Spaniel? |

You serenade you sweetheart with an original song that professes your love!!
Tell her that the song was inspired by her and that you could only show your true feelings by playing your original song on a brand new Ovation guitar! :) :D ;) |

Location: NJ | Please know that I am NOT (in any way) recommending/suggesting the purchasing of roses (personally, I think with the prices that're charged on Valentine'sDay, it's a bit of a waste of money. . .) Just passing along a bit of personal knowledge on the subject.
My ex and I owned/operated a retail florist for about 15 years. On an average Valentine's Day, we'd handle/process/sell about 5,000-8,000 roses (ranging from $30 to $175/doz.)
I used to witness an endless parade of guys with a glazed-over look on their faces, and absolutely no clue . . .
Just offering some "edumacation" just in case you DO decide to pursue this option, and hopefully alleviate any disappointment for yourself and/or your LadyLove . . . |

Location: Indiana | Hmmmmmmmm, I must be in a perfect situation. No significant other, and Valentines Day is my birthday. Just welcomed home guitar #48 & Ovation #7. I remember reading here that you can't have too many guitars. Maybe StandingO will send me that Cust Elite 12 for a birthday present.
