Now that would be somethin'.... entering the slavic market.
Paul McCartney was a HUGE bailalaika fan 'round '68 or so.

Being of some Russian descent myself, I've often pondered a balalaika. My neighbor is a Ukrainian ex-pat and travels "home" quite often . . . she and I may need to have a bit of discussion . . . |

Location: Las Vegas | I'm betting a ovation bailalaika would really put out some sound... but that triangular shape might be a challenge!
In San Franscisco there's a bailalaika ensemble/troupe that has members that use all sizes from sopranino down to bass, and a bass bailalaika is HUMONGOUS!
