When we moved into our TownHouse, the previous owner had left one of those PuttingPractice "mats" up in the attic.
Dragged it down & started putting it t'use . . .

. . . the cats LOVE it.
Cliff, the more thay shred it the more it becomes like the real deal: like practicing to putt from the fringe...but, if they're using it for the litter box, well....thats another problem entirely! Doubtful you'd have those same conditions at Amelia...

Nothing destructive . . .

. . . they just like to "lie in wait" and pounce on the balls before they drop into the cup . .

When they start t'become annoying, I put a little "English" on the ball . . . then they get the "message" . . .

A couple days in Florida will do wonders for clearing all those ambulance exhuast fumes from your head.

Well... sometimes there can be a fine line between genius and smart-ass.
The internet chat format can get a little tricky at times.

It wasn't a line I haven't heard a million times, so it didn't penetrate my hide. On the other hand, I don't think it approached the genious level. I was thinking the other end of the spectrum.

Okay... so... do you now owe me an apology??

edit... On second thought lets just move along folks... nothing to see here.
I'll just chalk it up to the Cheratussin (Codine Cough medicine) I'm on. As Mr. Wong.

I was just thinking about how close we were coming to the "be nice to each other" line and whether we had crossed it. Your apology was unnecessary and I hope you know I was just kidding too.
You're still welcome to come out and try to chase me down a ski slope anytime. I won't call an ambulance for you if you hurt yourself, though.

And Mark, you are high on the list of people I hope to meet someday.

Ditto, Brad, except for that cocoanut bra image that keeps popping into my head. Bring your son out to the NW gathering at Miles' place. Tell him my daughter should be there. Don't tell him that her boyfriend lives in the Seattle area.

I just locked in the Crab Trap restaurant for Friday night. We have the upstairs back room, will hold up to 60 and we'll only be 35 or so. This place has a full bar. I got the food, you all figure out how you'll work the drink tabs. We can get a little PA and bring some guitars if we feel like it, you know, pretend we're musicians.
