Wishin' it was here already! Got 2 songs worked up for Wednesday night, guess I'll decide which one when I'm about to go on. My first public performance in 25 years, more nervousness than excitement right now!

Now we're talking about college sports!?!?!

You know, in the south this is quite often a more important subject than religion.

Can we get back to the toilet jokes? Remind me to tell you the true story about Aztec Two Step and a tour bus.

Cloudy & 65 degrees on the Island today.
Let's hope it is just a little better in 4 weeks.

As opposed to, say, mostly cloudy and 21 degrees in MI? ;)

We'll look forward to the song.

Mine is coming real slow. I'm thinking about making it about a person writing a wind song who dies and the song never gets written.

Then again, I may just do some cliched blues 1-4-5 12 bar on a VXT with the acoustic rhythm on a loop and put a lead over the top from the lectric side.

Somebody is excited.

I look at 4 weeks a little differently. Between now and then there's probably a dozen significant things that could seriously go tits-up if I don't pay attention. So need to focus on those first. As far as my song - well, I've got a three hour layover in newark to work out the melody and Cliff and I can pass notes between seats 6F and 8F on the flight to JAX to come up with some lyrics. I find that if you sing fast and mumble you can get by with pretty much any jibberish. Golf? The rule of thumb is that no matter how much you suck at it, there's always someone worse. Why sweat it. Dave;
I'll have Beal's TakClassical in a gigbag on the plane with me . . . at least we'll have a "captive audience" t'bounce ideas off of . . .

. . wonder if that could be construed as "Terrorism"? . . .

Spent my bithday(Sunday) at Golfsmith.
Got my shooz, gluv, and a putter t'practice with.
When we moved into our TownHouse, the previous owner had left one of those PuttingPractice "mats" up in the attic.
Dragged it down & started putting it t'use . . .

. . . the cats LOVE it.

Dave, It's not all puppies & kittens for me either.
I've got songs I want to polish up.
I need to get real comfortable with my wind song.
And most of all... I got to get ready to "solo".
For years now all my practices have been based around a duo with different guitar and vocal parts. When I play on my own it always seems like something is missing.
I'm gonna feel really lost without my wing man.

". . . and in Other News . . . :

Citizens of this sleepy little Carolinian community were baffled when a classical guitar mysteriously "fell from the sky" and crashed at the intersection of State & Main . . luckily, no one (on the ground) was injured . . . "
