Joined: May 2002 Posts: 3005 Location: Las Cruces, NM | Welll It is my first name because of a banker relative in WVa named Bailey King that started the tradition. (Please don't shoot Hydro Shok, all my relatives are from WVa). As a youth, Bailey was an unusual moniker, and in midlife, WRKP Cincinnatti added a definately, and very pretty, feminine aspect. Every where I went the name Bill Bailey seemed to follow, and I was known by that handle in Poway, CA for many years as a pool playing reprobate. My uncle Bailey, who had no children and whose wife, Leta, was a part of an Hispanic family that settled in Ohio and hid their heritage, my uncle sold me a beautiful 1937 Ford sedan that my brother and I proceeded to destroy for $25, I regret destroying that car as much as the Gibson SJ that I bought from my fiddle playing brother that I broke in a fit of feeling that my wife didn't appreciate my music and gave away to a hippie techer in Poway who played folk and restored it and it sounded good when he played it. Bailey was my name when I took up mandolin to atone for destroying a good guitar but it didn't do any good, when I go in to Burger King and have to give some young waitress my name for the order, I still say "Bill" cause I'm tired of the question "UH, how do you spell that?" You spell it Bailey

"...Current Laws about disclosure made me use this one... oh, wait, was I supposed to say that?".... the standard question is: Are you now, or have you ever been, associated with any law-enforcement agency or any of it's governing bodies? or something like that. screenname is self-explanatory. had 2 others: ... when first joined was... 71Balladeer... then was cosmicunixycler till the deacon 12string cheese incident.. kind of a one-face kinda guy. Like it better this way. God Bless, Glenn

Joined: May 2005 Posts: 22 Location: Hagaman, NY | My name is one I carried over from the Hamer Fan Club forum. I'm pretty much a Kaman only owner in that I own Hamer, Ovation, and Takamine guitars. One of my favorite electric guitars is one I bought new over a decade ago with a funky hologram finish dubbed 'holoskull' by Hamer. I figured it was a funny play on words to make my board name at this forum and at the HFC forum hollowskull instead (which should be obvious) :)

(A little more as winter approaches, as I seem to have an internal instinct to fatten up a little at that time of year.)I am furry, cuddly, and love to give hugs. I like honey and am a sucker for peanut butter and maple syrup. I usually try to shy away from trouble, just don't back me into a corner, or your only hope may be to ball up into a ball and play dead. :D

Joined: April 2003 Posts: 608 Location: Caribou, ME | I have 2 daughters, Kim and Sarah. Back about 10 years ago I had vanity plates done up as "K&S DAD". I signed up for email in '99, remember snap.com? I think it was owned by NBC.... seems like a century ago, and they're long gone. Well for whatever reason I wasn't able to get k&sdad as an email i.d., so I used ksdaddy. That ended up being my trademark i.d. for everything, including ebay and my website www.ksdaddy.com. The old '82 Ford pickup still has the K&S DAD plate, and the Protege has the KSDADDY plate. So now my girls are 13 and 14, right at the age where they should be mortified by such a reference, but they've never said anything. Not to my face anyway.
